We make our online frame orders in our own 15,000 sq ft factory in Greater Manchester. Decades of framing experience sit alongside our own production technology, bringing precise cutting, careful joining and considered finishes to your bespoke picture frame.
Clean black or white, natural wood tones, a metallic accent or an ornate profile: the moulding sets the character. Check its width and depth in the designer, and order a sample if you’d like to see the colour and texture before deciding.
A single mount creates a quiet border; a double mount adds a fine inner line of colour. Or choose no mount for a closer fit around your picture. Adjust the borders to suit your artwork and the space where it will hang.
We consider material stability, the consistency of each finish and how it lasts over time. Quality checks and customer feedback help us refine our materials and processes, while efficient manufacturing helps us keep custom framing affordable.
A GOOD FIT STARTS HERE
Measure the width and height of the whole sheet, including any white margins. Enter those measurements in millimetres, centimetres or inches.
For a single or double mount, we make the opening 4mm smaller on each edge to hold the picture behind it. Don’t subtract this yourself. The edges are covered, not cut off.
The frame’s outside size depends on your moulding and mount borders. Check the external dimensions in your frame details, especially when you’re planning a gallery wall or fitting a particular space.

Yes. Enter your own width and height rather than choosing from a fixed list of sizes. We make rectangular and square frames for photographs, posters, art prints and original artwork, including unusual proportions. Size limits depend on your chosen frame and glazing; if the designer flags a size as too large, contact us to discuss it.
No. A mount is the card border between your picture and the frame. Choose no mount for a closer presentation, a single mount to give the image some space, or a double mount for an extra line of colour. The preview helps you compare the effect. For mounts to fit a frame you already own, use our separate picture mounts designer.
Standard acrylic safety glazing is a lightweight choice for everyday framing. Super Clear acrylic offers a clearer view, while Non Reflective acrylic has a diffused finish to soften reflections. You can also choose no glazing. For delicate, valuable or unusually thick artwork, speak to us about its needs before ordering.
Your chosen frame and MDF backing board, plus the glazing, mount and accessories you select. Wall hanging kits, foam bumpers and other accessories are available in the designer; check your choices in the review before adding to your basket. Artwork is not included.
Absolutely. Custom-sized frames are useful when a poster has an unusual format, a print has a margin or a photograph doesn’t fit a standard frame. Measure the complete sheet you’re framing. If a mount would cover a signature or important detail near an edge, ask us for advice on the layout.
